Despite a slow start and a lot of measures, the Formula 1 season of 2020 is over. Afterwards, the team bosses voted for the best drivers of the year and at the top two well known names will appear.
After each Formula 1 season, the team bosses will be asked to vote on who they think was the best driver of the season. All team bosses were allowed to deliver a top ten, using the F1 scoring system. Only Mattia Binotto did not vote.
For the second year in a row, Lewis Hamilton was voted the best driver of the year with 171 points, reports Formula1.com. This is not very surprising, as the Briton has dominated and got his seventh title, matching Michael Schumacher's record. Hamilton is followed at a short distance by the number two, which this year is again Max Verstappen - despite Valtteri Bottas finishing second in the rankings. With 156 points it was an exciting battle for place one.

The number of points then plunges to Lando Norris in 7th place, finishing with 45 points ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz on 37 points.
