Sao Paulo will host Formula 1 until 2025

Recently Liberty Media and the organisation of the Brazilian Grand Prix already reached an agreement to organise the race. President Jair Bolsonaro wanted the Grand Prix to come to Rio de Janeiro, but that plan will not go ahead. So Interlagos remains the home base for the race in the country.
Five-year contract
Through press release, Formula 1 has just officially announced that they will stay at Interlagos, and now there is a time frame attached to it. The circuit will continue to race Formula 1 Grands Prix until 2025, so a move to Rio de Janeiro is certainly not in the coming years.
The next race will take place on 14 November 2021 and this Grand Prix will be called 'Formula 1 Grande Prêmio de São Paulo'. However, there is a new promoter behind the upcoming races, which will be Brasil Motorsport, managed by several investment entities, led by Mubadala, a company from Abu Dhabi.
Chase Carey: "We are pleased to announce the city of São Paulo will continue to host the Brazilian Grand Prix until 2025 and look forward to working with our new promoter in the years ahead. Brazil is a very important market for Formula 1 with devoted fans and a long history in the sport.
"The race in Brazil has always been a highlight for our fans, the drivers and our partners and we look forward to providing Formula 1 fan with an exciting race at Interlagos in 2021 and over the next five years.”
