Sebastian Vettel drove the last few races of the season with a special helmet. This helmet was auctioned at the end of the season, something he hasn't done in his time at Ferrari.

Vettel in rainbow colours

Whereas in his successful years at Red Bull Racing Vettel drove almost every race with a different helmet, the last few years Vettel has been clinging to a white design with the German flag. That German flag had been changed into a rainbow flag for this last design.

In doing so, Vettel not only wanted to draw attention to 'diversity', but the proceeds from the auction would also go to a charity. In the end, the helmet raised 225,000 euros, an amount that will be spent on helping children in Uganda and Togo.
