For G-Star Raw Max Verstappen has an interview with radio DJ Edwin Evers. Part two of this series is about the holiday of the Dutch driver and that results in some nice stories.

As a top athlete, the life of Verstappen is, of course, largely about Formula 1. If he has some time for a holiday, he tries to do something different, but the stories from his youth show that racing even on holidays demolishes the family of Verstappen.

''Till it goes wrong'', says Verstappen when Evers asks him if he can do anything of Red Bull. ''When they call me and I'm on the ski slope, they only like it, but when I'm in hospital they'll ask why I'm going to do that. I don't like bungee jumping or skydiving myself. I have no control, because if that parachute doesn't open it's over,'' says the Red Bull driver.

Holidays were never full of that sort of thing, but rather racing. ''Karting holidays. The women always went to the beach and we found a go-kart track nearby. We'd go on holiday by bus, my father drove quite a bit and then the caravan behind that sprinter. Most of the time we went to Italy and then all the circuits were different,'' concludes Verstappen.
