Sebastian Vettel will say goodbye to Ferrari after 2020. Next year he will join Aston Martin, which is the current F1 team, Racing Point. According to the German himself, he will certainly be seen in motorsport for a number of years to come.

No success

Vettel arrived at Ferrari in 2015 to follow in the footsteps of his great Formula 1 hero Michael Schumacher. Unfortunately, the dreamed world titles were never achieved with the Scuderia and Vettel now looks back on his worst season with the Italian team. "It was a tough year for me. I doubted myself very much. I'm just going to say it: I haven't accomplished anything," says Vettel in conversation with Die Zeit.

"The situation is also far from the easiest. The love between the team and me is over," continues the four-time world champion. "Yet I am still very motivated. I'm 33 now and at 40 I want to stop racing."

New opportunities

Vettel will appear on the grid from 2021 in the colours of Aston Martin. The team that is still called Racing Point is doing well this year and Vettel hopes to help the team in the coming years.
