With his victory in the Turkish Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton has given the competition a hard time in many respects. Not only did he become world champion for the seventh time, but he did so in a way that justifiably makes him the best driver on the current grid.

He is also rewarded for this performance in the Power Rankings of Formula1.com, where connoisseurs judge the drivers after each race. The Mercedes driver is awarded a 10. The fact that he fell short in qualifying speed is forgiven to him by this magnificent victory.

Verstappen outside the top ten

The other drivers on the podium are also well judged. Perez gets a 9.2 and Vettel an 8.6. However, Carlos Sainz is in between with a 9. His race was less spectacular, but that solid fifth place is appreciated.

The big loser of the weekend is Max Verstappen. He gets a six for the effort, but is not in the top ten and therefore also loses a lot of ground on Hamilton in the general classification. Especially after the failed overtake on Sergio Perez.
