In the last few turns of the Turkish Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel suddenly made it to the podium. A mistake by Charles Leclerc gave Vettel the opening he needed, which caused enormous anger for Leclerc.

Leclerc drove a fantastic Grand Prix of Turkey. After a lousy start, Leclerc fought his way forward, where his teammate could be found for the whole race after a great start. The Monegasque seemed on his way to a podium but threw that away in the final lap. For Vettel that wasn't necessarily something he needed.

Vettel recognises himself in Leclerc

''No, it is not that relevant. I am mature enough not to let all those things that are said stand between Charles and me. I am very happy with what he has achieved and what he will achieve in the future. He's a good boy,'' says the German according to Motorsport-magazin.com.

Vettel also recognises that in the young Leclerc. ''I often recognise myself in him. I haven't really spoken to him after that, but later I will tell him that it really doesn't matter. He is still very young and will be on stage much more often. However, it is logical that he is angry because he made a mistake and lost his podium place, but in the big picture it won't matter to him," concludes the Ferrari driver.
