Nico Hulkenberg is one of the candidates to take Alexander Albon's seat at Red Bull Racing. The German is often asked about the situation and in an interview with ServusTV, the Hulk gets asked again. Does he have any news?

Is there already a contract?

With ServusTV, a Red Bull channel, Hulkenberg joins us to talk about his future in Formula 1. A discussion about his possible move to Red Bull Racing is not out of the question and when asked if he has already signed something, Nico answers very calmly: ''Yes, I have indeed signed."

The German is not talking about a Red Bull contract, rather a bank account. ''There is nothing else to report. The rumour has gone down a bit and I think it will take some time before it is announced," says Hulkenberg.

Hulkenberg waits calmly

Christian Horner said earlier that the decision might not be made until after the last race in Abu Dhabi. ''I'm fairly calm about that, because it's not in my hands. I just have to be ready for it myself, otherwise I hope for another comeback and opportunity. We just have to be patient and wait for the decision."

At Red Bull it is still between Sergio Perez and Hulkenberg, as everyone already assumes that Albon has been written off. ''Of course I'm in contact with the people who know what's going on, but that's really not every week and certainly not every day. Of course I have people who help me, but in principle I maintain these contacts myself," concludes the German.
