Max Verstappen has set his sights on 2021. The Dutchman is assuming that he will just be third in the championship in 2020, but he really wants to compete for the world title in 2021. Is that realistic, though?

Verstappen is already looking at 2021

''We are going to be third in the championship after all. I think it has been an okay year in itself, in which we have achieved some nice results, according to what we were able to do with the material. Next year we have to compete for the world championship, because that's all that matters," says Verstappen to Peptalk.

At the table at the Ziggo Sport programme is also Dutch IndyCar rider, Rinus van Kalmthout. Verstappen respects it, but wouldn't like to take part in such a race himself. ''I don't like the Oval. It is impressive to see and of course very tough. A lot of respect if you go full throttle there," says Verstappen, who said that he hasn't personally congratulated Lewis Hamilton on his seventh world title yet, but he will probably do so in Bahrain.
