Sebastian Vettel managed to take the podium from his teammate Charles Leclerc in the final corner of the race. The German thus takes his first podium since Mexico 2019.

"Yes it was very intense and quite long, but good fun", says a cheerful Vettel after the race. "I had a very good first lap and I found myself already in P4. When we switched to inters, it was a bit in the beginning. Only towards the end did I find the pace again. That last lap was of course very intense. It was a surprise to take that podium, but very happy. It was enjoyable in tricky conditions," he said.

“I saw that Charles was close behind Sergio and I heard he was having problems with his tyres. I could see them fighting and the moment I saw Charles locking up, of course I saw that as an opportunity for myself," said the Ferrari driver.
