Formula 2 is not going to the Netherlands, but Formula 3 can be seen at Zandvoort
- GPblog.com
The Dutch Grand Prix in 2021 will be held in September, but this means that fans will have to miss out on one part of the programme. Formula 2 will not travel to Zandvoort.
The Formula 1 calendar of 2021 was announced by the F1 on Tuesday and we will see the Dutch GP again. However, in 2021 the race at the circuit of Zandvoort is scheduled for September, where it was planned to take place in May. With this change Zandvoort hopes to be able to admit fans after all.
No Formula 2 for Zandvoort
Those fans will unfortunately have to make do with one fewer event, because the Formula 2 calendar that has also been presented shows that Zandvoort will not be affected. The F2 drivers will drive to Bahrain, Monaco, Azerbaijan, England, Italy, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi in 2021, but will not pass the Netherlands.
However, you will not come to Zandvoort all by yourself for the F1, because Formula 3 will be present on the Dutch circuit. The F2 and F3 will drive in 2021. Formula 3 will drive in 2021 in Spain, France, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands and finish in America.
