Nico Hulkenberg has been rumoured to take one of the remaining F1 seats for next season. Among other locations, he is a candidate at Red Bull Racing and because of his own comments, he seems to be in a strong negotiating position.

Hulkenberg not working on new project

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, he has had to replace both Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll this season. This has put him back in the spotlight. "I did what I had to do and now it's up to you", is his communication to the teams via ESPN. He has focused all his arrows on Formula 1.

"My name is mentioned on several teams. We will have to wait and see to know what they want. I am not looking outside Formula 1. I have to take it into account, but I'm not someone who is already working on the next project," says the Hulk, who says he will only look outside F1 when there is no other option. "But we are not there yet."
