Mercedes put in a dominant display in Portugal, so dominant in fact, they actually lapped 16 of the field. Jan Lammers has been reflecting on Mercedes' victory as well as commenting on Alex Albon's form.

"That's the show of Mercedes' supremacy again," said Lammers in the Sunday evening broadcast of NOS Studio Sport

Alexander Albon was one of the drivers who couldn't keep up with the pace of the men at the front and that's not good news regarding his seat for 2021. The British Thai did not even score points. There was no more than a twelfth place. "But the strange thing is that his fastest lap was almost as fast as that of Verstappen."

Albon gives a glimpse of quality

Albon faces a possible battle from Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez for a Red Bull seat next season. Lammers admitted he can see the potential in Albon but it was another tough weekend for the Red Bull driver. "It shows that he has it in him. But yes, he was twelfth again."
