Guenther Steiner has admitted the Haas team wanted change following the decision to let go of Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. The news was announced earlier today on social media.

Guenther Steiner, team boss of Haas, said in a press conference attended by Motorsport-Magazin.com, among others, that he does not yet know when they will announce who will be their drivers for 2021. The decision to let Grosjean and Magnussen know earlier than the new drivers are announced has been made to give them enough time to find an alternative.

"We just wanted change," explained Steiner. The Italian kept his lips tight about the choice of the new drivers. "Anything is possible." The team boss explained that contracting new drivers is mainly about money.

Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher among others have been linked with a potential drive for the team next season.
