Romain Grosjean will leave Haas at the end of the 2020 Formula 1 season. The French driver announced the news on his own Facebook account. The question is what messages will follow soon?

Grosjean will leave Haas at the end of 2020, confirming the rumours surrounding his imminent departure. Kevin Magnussen's departure is also in the air and Haas' new lineup for 2021 is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Grosjean thanks Haas

Grosjean closes his period at Haas with a fitting message on Facebook. ''The last chapter is closed and the book is ready. I have been with Haas F1 Team since day one. Five years in which we went through highs and lows, I scored 110 points in 92 races, but the trip was worth it. I have learned and improved a lot to be both a better driver and a better man," Grosjean said in a statement.

''I hope I have also helped the people on the team to improve themselves. This is probably my biggest pride, more than one of the crazy first races in 2016 or the P4 in the Austrian GP 2018. I wish the team all the best for the future," concluded the Frenchman, who is unlikely to find a place in Formula 1.
