Charles Leclerc has proven himself in a short time with the Ferrari team and ensured his future there. But is there room for another Leclerc? Brother Arthur hopes one day to drive for the Maranello team as well.

Since his debut at Alfa Romeo in 2018, it has been clear that Charles Leclerc has a golden future in Formula 1 and since then we have been treated to some great prospects for years to come. For example, what about the duel between the Monegasque and Max Verstappen at the British Grand Prix in 2019?

Charles isn't the only one in the Leclerc family who is involved in motorsports, Arthur Leclerc has also gained a place in Ferrari's training program. For a long time that just didn't seem to be possible. "I only started racing again two years ago. I started as a kid, but then Lorenzo (his older brother, ed.) and I had to quit because there wasn't enough money at home to support everyone's career," says Charles' younger brother to Corriere Della Sera.

Dreams of Ferrari and Formula 1

Despite having to stop temporarily, the Monegasque has never stopped dreaming of a career in Formula 1. "I remember getting up in the morning to watch the Grands Prix on TV when it was six or seven. Then we went to play on the PlayStation and I tried to repeat the same actions and dreamed of driving in F1. That is still my goal. But for now, I want to win the F3 Regional and learn more, so no distractions. I want to do well here in Monza," continues Leclerc.

In karting, the driver got tips from Charles, but that doesn't apply now because Arthur is driving in a category his brother never drove in. He is now learning the tricks of the trade in Maranello at Ferrari. "I'm learning a lot, from techniques to physics. If you know how tires work and behave, you can use that. It's a dream come true to work at Ferrari. I really didn't expect it."

And in the end, will there be a team in Formula 1 with the Leclerc brothers in it? "Let's not get ahead of ourselves...," Arthur Leclerc concluded.
