Red Bull Racing will be without an engine supplier after 2021, because Honda will leave Formula 1 after that year. Advisor Helmut Marko says the team does not want to wait too long before closing a new deal.

Three options remain

Toto Wolff has already stated that Mercedes will not supply engines to Red Bull. "After Mercedes has said no, there are three options left", says Marko in conversation with Sky Deutschland. The Austrian advisor does not want to wait too long before announcing the plans after 2021.

"We want to solve this problem by the end of November. We are looking at three options and they look good. But it is clear that it will not be an easy choice between the options", concludes Marko. It is clear that Renault and Ferrari are among those options, the third and last option seems to be to take over the Honda engines and put them in the car under a different name.
