Verstappen on AVL: "They work for several manufacturers as well"

Max Verstappen had a quiet Friday. Both the first and second free practice session were cancelled due to the weather conditions. For Verstappen and Red Bull this could be advantageous.
"Pretty relaxed, actually. I can't influence it anyway," said Verstappen on Ziggo Sport regarding Honda's departure. "They [Red Bull] are working on it now [making plans for the future]. It is of course a pity that Honda is quitting, but we still have a year and a half left to make something beautiful out of it. We'll go full steam ahead and then we'll see."
Red Bull and Verstappen are still in the dark themselves
"They [Honda] also keep working at full throttle, so that cenrtainly won't be an issue. We will have to wait and see what happens next. You can speculate on a lot of things, but it does not make sense at the moment."
Nevertheless, interviewer Olav Mol could not resist throwing a spanner in the works. In this case the spanner was AVL, the Austrian company mentioned as a possible partner. "AVL also works for several manufacturers, of course. Everyone thinks they know it, but there's no point in speculating, because we don't know ourselves," Verstappen added.
