If Lewis Hamilton succeeds in winning the Russian Grand Prix this weekend, he will match the record of 91 victories now registered in the name of Michael Schumacher. The Netflix cameras will be there this weekend, hoping to capture this moment.

Netflix is currently working on the third season of Drive To Survive and hopes to capture a historic moment on camera this weekend. The once unattainable record of Schumacher could be equalled this weekend. The makers of the Netflix documentary have access to Mercedes throughout the weekend.

Last time the Netflix cameras visited Mercedes, the race ended in a debacle for the German team. At the German Grand Prix it was celebrated that Mercedes competed in motorsport for 125 years, but the team had one of their worst performances in the recent past. Valtteri Bottas crashed and Hamilton finished in an inglorious ninth place. Let's hope for Mercedes that the team is spared this kind of misery this weekend.
