Despite all the problems, Max Verstappen remains fully committed to be able to beat Mercedes in 2020 and still win some Grands Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver also states that he hopes it won't be several years before he becomes World Champion in Formula 1.

"Could I have won? I could have... I don't care. I can't change it", Verstappen is quoted by the Spanish AS. The nine-time Grand Prix winner has now shifted the focus to single victories, he explains at ORF. "I have accepted that things are not going as they should this year. But I will continue to give everything every weekend to get the best out of it".

Red Bull have learned a lot

The RB16 is not the car hoped for by the Red Bull camp. "There are several things not quite perfect about our car this year. But we have already learned a lot from them. I hope we can change things next year and hopefully it will be a little better then", says the 22 year old Limburger.

Finally, the Austrian television station asks when he will finally seize his first world title in the premier league of motor racing. "You can never say that in Formula 1", smiles Verstappen. "But I hope, of course, that it won't be for very long."
