Charles Leclerc rides this weekend, in the 1000th GP of his team Ferrari, with a special helmet with which he honours his team. It is a beautiful tribute, with an eye for the history of Ferrari.

The Italian race stable has something to celebrate this week. Not so much because of the performance on the track, but the race in Mugello will be the 1000th in the team's long history. The cars of Leclerc and Vettel have been given a makeover especially for this. The car now has the colour 'amaranth red', the same colour as the car with which the first GP was held. The racing suits also have this colour.

History

So Leclerc has also received a special helmet for this anniversary. In basic lines it is the same, but everywhere on the helmet you can see Ferrari cars that have written history. For example, the F2001 and F2004 by Michael Schumacher, the F2007 by Kimi Raikkonen, but also the 312 T4 by Jody Scheckter.

All in all, the young Monegask has undergone a major metamorphosis for the coming race weekend. Now Ferrari is hoping that he can make them cheer on their anniversary.
