Sebastian Vettel is leaving Ferrari at the end of 2020, but where is the German going? Where Ferrari's successor is ready, Vettel is not yet clear. Is it wise to change teams?

Vettel will have to make way for Carlos Sainz at the end of 2020, so Ferrari chooses the new road with leader Charles Leclerc. There is a four-time world champion on the streets, who indicates that he still wants to race. However, the question is where? Racing Point seems the most obvious choice, but is that wise?

Vettel should consider the choice well

''He is multiple world champion and therefore accustomed to a certain environment. So he has to be sure that his new team will be able to offer this environment as well. We had that in 2005 and 2006 with Jacques Villeneuve, who had problems with the environment at Sauber'', says former team boss of Sauber, Monisha Kaltenborn.

Kaltenborn is also unhappy with Ferrari's approach. ''In public you shouldn't have a conflict as a team. You have to discuss all that internally, because apparently a point has been reached where it no longer works. In a company, the team boss must take responsibility for this. If a driver doesn't feel heard, that's a tricky situation'', concludes Kaltenborn opposite German Sport1.
