Vettel disappointed: "Clearly the problems have not yet been solved"

For Sebastian Vettel, the Grand Prix of Belgium went very badly. The German barely managed to touch the top ten and eventually finished 13th, just ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc. It is striking that Kimi Raikonnen is the best driver with a Ferrari engine, as he finished in 12th place. So there are still a lot of problems for the Italian team.

"Clearly, things are still unresolved, or unclear. I hope the problems are specific to Spa but we will have to work hard and there is still a lot to learn. We need to stay focused and find solutions together. Of course it is also important to remain realistic, because the car is not fantastic. I've tried a number of things to drive past the problems but you can't work miracles," Vettel explains to Sky Sports.

Focus on positive things

"There is still a lot we can learn and it is important that we do not get frustrated now, because frustration will not help you any further. We have to remain optimistic and look at the positive things, even when there are not many of them. There are two important races coming up that we need to focus on now," Vettel refers to the races in Monza and Mugello, both in Italy.

"I have a lot of memories of Monza, just look at my past there. Of course it is Monza and I know it means a lot to the whole team," said Vettel.
