Verstappen on his chances for victory: "You never know here"
Max Verstappen looks back with a good feeling on qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. The Dutchman can start Sunday's race from third on the grid and will fight for a sixth podium in a row in 2020. The nine-time Grand Prix winner missed out on a front-row place by 0.015 seconds.
"We thought it was going to be very tricky for us but overall we can be very pleased. I might have run out of energy but it's a good day and there are a lot of opportunities tomorrow," the Red Bull man said after qualifying.
Verstappen doesn't know whether a victory is possible. "I don't think we can suddenly start to fight Lewis but I hope the weather comes into play - it's a bit more fun!"
