For Helmut Marko, the F1 season has been reasonable so far. The Red Bull Racing advisor has already seen Max Verstappen win once but had actually hoped for more victories in 2020. However, it soon became clear that Mercedes iare the fastest and that Red Bull would be in pursuit.

"It is only in Monza that we really know how far behind we are, because then they will lose their party mode," explained Marko in an interview with Kronen Zeitung. "It is simply important that we get the most out of the weekend. The weather forecasts do not look good and with the changing conditions Spa can become really dangerous."

Happiness of Hamilton is once upon a time

According to Marko, Red Bull's goal has remained unchanged, despite the weaker start to the season. "We will certainly not give up. We have to keep on working. We also won the world championship when we were 60 points behind Alonso halfway."

"Unfortunately it seems that Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton are in a different class. At some point Hamilton's luck will have to stop. In Barcelona he drove over a section of a front wing without anything happening. With us it would mean the end of the race right away."
