Ferrari was happy with seventh place for Sebastian Vettel, but six points is obviously not enough for Ferrari. However, according to team boss Mattia Binotto, there are no updates to come in the short term.

The Spanish Grand Prix has not been one for Ferrari to write home about. In qualifying, only Charles Leclerc made it through Q3, but in the race, it was he who suffered from engine problems. Vettel came from eleventh place but was unable to salvage what could have been.

No updates for Ferrari yet

''A fourth place would have been possible today, but the problems for Leclerc made this unfeasible. Luckily Vettel managed to score a nice number of points with his seventh place. We really need to do better and that starts with qualifying, because we're making things too difficult for ourselves," said Binotto to Sky Sports Italia.

''We are working on several updates and are also looking at 2021. We will also bring some updates in 2020, but we don't expect that for the next two races," concluded the Ferrari team boss.
