Lewis Hamilton is driving well this season. The driver of Mercedes has already gained more than 100 points in F1 2020 and has already won several victories. Nevertheless Hamilton also looks at the midfield, where the biggest competitor of 2019 now drives. Ferrari is experiencing a dramatic season so far.
Sebastian Vettel has already had a bad start to the season. The German doesn't yet have confidence in his Ferrari, so he is behind the facts. Hamilton sympathises with the driver of Ferrari. "I saw that he had a pretty tough race and all I can do is empathize with the position he is in now. It's not nice to be told that a team doesn't want to go through with you," Hamilton explained to Racefans.net.
Vettel loves racing
"When you join a team and when you're comfortable within the team, you give it everything. I think it's very good that he still does that. He's just trying to keep going and help the team."
The two drivers have been rivals for a long time, when Vettel won his world championships with Red Bull Racing. At Ferrari he had hoped for news success, but that didn't work out. Nevertheless, Vettel continues to support the team. "It shows that he has a great character and that he loves racing. I hope he will do great things in the coming years", said Hamilton.
