Red Bull Racing hopes to compete again for victory at the Spanish Grand Prix. Temperatures remain high and that should be to Max Verstappen's advantage. Helmut Marko looks ahead to the race.

From his own home Marko does an interview with the German RTL. ''With corona I only fly to the circuit at the very last moment'', Red Bull's top man says about that. Red Bull took the first victory of 2020 last weekend and now hopes to extend that momentum to 2020.

Always Verstappen with DRS

"We hope the temperature stays above 30 degrees. We take more and more steps with our chassis and are convinced that we can put Mercedes under pressure. An update is a big word, but we do have some new parts and understand our car better and better. With that we hope to be closer to Mercedes'', says Marko.

The man who still has to make the biggest step within Red Bull is Alexander Albon. The Thai is having a hard time as a team mate of Verstappen, but Marko is reasonably satisfied. ''We are very satisfied with his racepace, but on Saturday we have to do a bit better. That also depends on the car, because it has to get better. However, with Max as a team mate it isn't easy either, because sometimes it looks like he's driving an entire race with DRS open'', the Austrian concludes.
