''The maturity and forethought of Verstappen are really becoming visible now''

Max Verstappen has made a great impression on racing with his victory at the second Grand Prix at Silverstone. According to Gary Anderson the Dutchman feels completely at home at Red Bull Racing.
Dominance of Mercedes reports
''The maturity of Verstappen and thinking ahead are now truly visible. The choice for the hard tyre in Q2 was a risk, because he could have been eleventh just like that. But they went for it and it worked out well'', says the former designer of Jordan on the website of The Race.
''There are circuits in the championship that mean more than others and Silverstone is one of the best for Verstappen. They've also really beaten Mercedes from fourth place and I really mean the dominance of both Mercedes. If you can start fourth and win the race without a Safety Car, you can go home with a smile on your face''.
Championship for Verstappen?
The driver of Red Bull Racing could be heard many times on the on-board radio and according to Anderson that shows how much surplus Verstappen has. ''He is completely comfortable in that situation and has that surplus mentally to be funny in that communication. You could also say it could lower the stress level because of that relaxed posture.''
Red Bull Racing's goal prior to this season was to become world champion and with thirty points behind Verstappen everything is still possible. ''We all know Red Bull isn't at the level they would have liked, so I'm curious to see if they can manage that'', concludes Anderson.
