For Alex Albon the first Grand Prix at Silverstone did not go as expected. The Thai was eliminated in the second qualifying session and on top of that it took him a long time in the race to get up to speed. Nevertheless, the driver of Red Bull Racing remains hopeful for a good second Grand Prix on the British circuit. One of the changes prior to the first British Grand Prix was changing engineers for Albon.

That change should make the Thai progress faster on the track, but after the first Grand Prix that progress isn't quite clear yet, yet Albon is happy that he now has Simon Rennie as sole rider. "The cooperation is going well, there's not much more to say about it now", the Thai explains at the press conference, where Motorsport-Total.com is present.

Accidents don't change driving style

In 2020, Albon has already experienced two accidents. In Austria it went wrong with Lewis Hamilton and in Silverstone he hit Kevin Magnussen. Yet Albon doesn't expect it to affect his driving style. "Magnussen made a mistake and as a result there was a hole that I was looking for. If it would happen again I would have done the same thing", the Thai expects.
