Alexander Albon's been struggling lately. During the British Grand Prix, the driver got a questionable time penalty and now there are penalty points on top of that.

It didn't take long for the first driver to be eliminated from the British Grand Prix. Just before the start-finish line Kevin Magnussen's Haas was lying in the gravel trap and was missing a tyre, which made it impossible for him to continue the race.

It soon became clear that the Dane had been hit off the track by an incident with Alexander Albon. Magnussen went a little too wide in the penultimate corner at Silverstone, creating a gap for the driver of Red Bull Racing. However, Magnussen immediately closed the door, leaving no room for the British Thai to deviate and the Dane was launched over the front wheel of the RB16.

Penalty points for Albon

During the race, the stewards determined that Albon would not go free in the incident and gave the driver a time penalty of five seconds. On top of that, Albon now has two penalty points on his super license. That is what the stewards decided after the race.
