Albon positive about development RB16: ''The car will only get better''

The pressure is already on Alexander Albon, who did not manage to impress during the first three races. Prior to the British Grand Prix, however, he himself is looking forward to the race at Silverstone with great confidence.
Albon remains positive under pressure
''I'm feeling very good right now. Of course the team didn't have the start it had hoped for, but apart from my drop out in the first race I was able to score good runs. The car can only get better, so in that respect I'm very positive'', says the Thai driver in the preview of Red Bull Racing.
However, Albon also acknowledges that there is still a lot of work to do for his team. ''We know where we need to improve and with a race so close to the factory at Silverstone, that's just good news. Hopefully we can achieve a good result here, as the team has been able to do in the past''.
No repetition of Hungary
Albon seemed to be on his way to victory at the Austrian Grand Prix, but the young driver's pace hasn't been close to team mate Max Verstappen yet. His overtaking race during the GP of Hungary was nice, but Albon himself acknowledges that it still needs to be a bit faster.
''Of course it was fun in Hungary, but I don't want to have to start from so far. I think we had a good car for the race, but on Saturday we should be able to get more out of it. If we can do that, the race on Sunday will also be a lot better'', concluded Albon, who qualified thirteenth in Hungary.
