Former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone and six-time world champion Lewis Hamilton are at loggerheads because of the racism debate. Hamilton called Ecclestone's statements uneducated. Ecclestone reacted and says Hamilton should be happy with the fact that Ecclestone has never had any real education.

Ecclestone commented on Hamilton's fight against racism in F1. Ecclestone had CNN record that "black people are often more racist than white people". Hamilton in turn called this remark "ignorant".

Daily Mail reports that Ecclestone has reacted again to Hamilton's comment: "Lewis can start by proclaiming that people who are not white get the same chances with the teams", the 89-year-old takes off.

He continues: "Lewis, you say I'm uneducated and ignorant. I have had the same level of education as you. At least I had a good reason for that, I was still in school during the last war and it wasn't always under the best conditions".

Ecclestone very fierce against Hamilton

The former F1-boss sounds very fierce to the Mercedes driver and appeals to him directly. Ecclestone continues: "You're actually lucky because if I had a good education, F1 probably wouldn't be the way it is now. Then you wouldn't be able to benefit as much as you do now".

Ecclestone adds another lash at Hamilton: "I have done well out of it, too, but I already made a lot of money before I was in F1".

Ecclestone concludes: "Life isn't fair. We need to educate a younger generation."
