For Red Bull Racing the start of the new season did not go as expected. Expectations were that they would achieve extremely good results at the Red Bull Ring and in Hungary, but in the end, after the first three Grands Prix, they have only two podium finishes, both under the name of Max Verstappen. In an interview with AS let the Dutchman know what's not going well yet.

The Dutchman notices that the car lacks speed on all fronts, compared to Mercedes. The time the driver drove in qualifying was worse than his pole time in 2019. That's why Verstappen suspects that something didn't go well at Red Bull. "Maybe other teams have made steps, in which we have gone in the wrong direction", Verstappen says.

Still searching

The weekend in Hungary was far from optimal for Verstappen. The Red Bull driver qualified in seventh place, while he achieved pole position on the same circuit last year. He indicates that the team is well on its way to solve the problems, but he also states that there are still a lot of problems that are still unresolved.

"If we already knew why we have these problems, we would have done something to solve it or improve it". So those problems won't be solved quickly, but the team is working hard to find solutions. "We're still looking", close Verstappen.
