Red Bull Racing was able to repair Max Verstappen's car in record time, allowing him to compete in the Hungarian Grand Prix. It was an achievement that amazed everyone, but for the team itself it didn't come out of the blue. Helmut Marko explains:

"What the mechanics did today was world-class. Now we know why we always do training camps of several days in winter. They not only train for pit stops, but also to perform at peak stress levels," says Red Bull's advisor on Sport1.

"You're not only prepared for unexpected situations, you're also part of a dedicated team where everyone can trust each other blindly". With the team spirit Milton Keynes is doing well. The car, on the other hand, could use an upgrade. Marko hopes that this has been found for Silverstone, because people now think they know where the problem lies.

Albon has done well

In the meantime the team is dependent on above average performance of the drivers. In that respect Marko was satisfied, also with Alexander Albon. "Albon drove well during the race, overtook a lot and ended up fifth. You have to judge Albon fairly, he is doing well. It's not easy next to Verstappen."
