Verstappen over Mugello: "Can't wait to race there"

Max Verstappen is looking forward to the Grand Prix of Mugello. The 22 year old driver of Red Bull is a big fan of the circuit that will be visited on September 13th.

"I can't wait to race there," says Verstappen in conversation with La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I've studied the circuit by looking at MotoGP." The asphalt is usually used for races in MotoGP. The Dutchman turns out to be open to tips from motorcyclist Valentino Rossi, who has Mugello as his home base. "Why not? It's indeed his circuit. It can be done just like that.

Ferrari home circuit

The Grand Prix of Tuscany's Mugello is considered to be Ferrari's home circuit. In Mugello, the Italian racing stable is on the grid of the king's class of racing for the thousandth time in history. For Ferrari it is to be hoped that it can impress on its own field. In the first two races of 2020 the top team was severely disappointed. Last weekend Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel dropped out after they collided.
