The future of Sebastian Vettel is extremely uncertain. In 2020 Carlos Sainz will take his place at Ferrari and so far no team seems to be open to the arrival of the German. Red Bull Racing and Racing Point, among others, have already indicated that they do not have a place for Vettel. The seats from other teams are also slowly being taken away from Vettel, for example by the return of Fernando Alonso at Renault.

However, it now seems that Vettel will soon give more clarity about his future. During the second free practice session in Spielberg, in preparation for the Styrian Grand Prix, Martin Brundle announced that he will have an interview with Vettel next Thursday in Hungary, at the request of the German.

At the request of Vettel

"Next Thursday, I have an interview with Seb, in Hungary. He asked for that interview. I then asked him what he wants to talk about next week", Brundle explains at Sky Sports F1. "He said that I could make that up, he has been very articulate lately, he said himself".

The big question now is what Vettel wants to announce next week. Will it be the announcement of his departure from F1, or has he managed to make a deal with another team? Next Thursday there will probably be more about the future of Vettel in F1.
