Although he broke a front wing this weekend, Max Verstappen will have the latest version at his disposal for the rest of the weekend. This clearly gives him preference over teammate Alexander Albon, who now has to make do with the old wing. However, he understands that.

"Max has done well here in the past, so I don't blame them [the team]. I'll have that wing for the next race. For now I focus on my work," Albon said after qualifying against Motorsport-Total.com and others.

Not the first time Red Bull does this

Albon doesn't know exactly how much time the new front wing is worth either. "I didn't even ask, I didn't even want to know, because there's nothing I can do about it now."

It's not the first time Red Bull Racing has only given a new version of the front wing to their first driver. A notorious moment is the British Grand Prix in 2011, when Mark Webber was passed by the team. The Australian was very angry about that at the time and managed to practice pole position the next day.
