Jean Todt is satisfied with the upcoming start of the Formula 1 season in 2020. The President of the FIA congratulates those involved who have ensured that we can start again with two races in Austria at the beginning of July.

The whole Formula 1 world is relieved that there is a definite first part of the calendar. The first eight races are a fact for 2020. It starts for a double meeting at the Red Bull circuit in Austria, before going to Hungary, Great Britain, Spain, Belgium and Italy. There will also be a double race at Silverstone.

Boss of the FIA Jean Todt also reacts cheerfully to these developments, as F1Only writes: "I am happy with the resumption of the F1 World Championship. An unprecedented crisis by Covid 19 calls for unprecedented actions to resume the championship in the best possible way."

Presence

The former manager of Ferrari is grateful and will show his face at the opening: "Congratulations to all those involved who made this possible. I look forward to the first race in Austria, and I will be there."

In the race that was cancelled earlier this year in Australia, the chairman was conspicuous by his absence. The Frenchman received a lot of criticism.
