For the time being, real racing has come to a standstill, so we have to make do with the classics in the virtual racing world. One advantage is that we can see Max Verstappen in action during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans will be held in the weekend of 13 and 14 June and Verstappen and Lando Norris will appear at the start for Team Redline. Due to the corona virus, the official version of the 24 hour race could not take place and so the organization and teams joined forces to get a virtual version off the ground.

Getting to the start

Team Redline is at the start as a sim racing team and does not opt for the slightest lineup. With Norris and Verstappen, for example, there are already two Formula 1 drivers at the start for the team and they are supplemented by men with a lot of experience in the simulator: Atze Kerkhof and Greger Huttu. These four will compete in the game rFactor2.

Verstappen previously expressed his love to ride the real 24 hours of Le Mans and prefer to do so with his father. However, he does not get into the simulator, so Verstappen has to do it on his virtual debut with Norris, Kerkhof and Huttu as his teammates. After his F1 career he can then always participate in the real variant with his father.
