This week a big silly season has started for 2021 which is not finished yet. All this will take place before a Grand Prix has taken place. An unprecedented situation which according to Martin Brundle will bring spectacle, especially at Ferrari.

There will be many more interests at the beginning of July than there were a week ago. Carlos Sainz knows he will be driving for Ferrari in 2021, Daniel Ricciardo for McLaren and Sebastian Vettel doesn't have a spot yet but at least he knows he won't be driving for Ferrari anymore. According to Martin Brundle, this is going to result in special situations.

"I expect a very diligent Vettel, you shouldn't underestimate him. He will be racing purely for himself so I don't think he pays much attention to the ambitions of team mate Leclerc. He doesn't care about that."

Last year the two ruffs at Ferrari met regularly with repeated bad results. With the departure of Vettel the relationship between the men only has to last half a year. How do they deal with team orders then? "How many team orders is Vettel going to pay attention to? Last year he wasn't interested and now he's leaving the team", said Brundle opposite Skysports, who clearly expects that Vettel won't leave.

In addition to Ferrari, there are of course interests of the other two transferred drivers: "Sainz can collide with a Ferrari while see wheel to wheel or Ricciardo with a McLaren. There will be some very strange stories even before it is 2021", concludes the man who is now a commentator.
