Max Verstappen is having a great time during the coronavirus. Locked up in his house in Monaco, the Dutchman can't get enough of his simulator to make up for lost  hours as long as the Formula 1 season doesn't start yet.

For Team Redline, Verstappen participates in various online championships. For example, he was to be admired during the Real Racers Never Quit tournament and he also participated in the Supercars championship. It's all new for Verstappen, but winning is certainly not something the Red Bull Racing driver hasn't lost yet.

Sim racing

''I'm used to being home a lot, so that's not a problem for me. Of course I would love to race again, but at home I can train enough on the simulator to be ready for the start of the season'', says the Dutchman in conversation with ServusTV. Is Verstappen so used to his simulator that he is already faster than in real life?

''In a real Formula 1 car I am still faster. I've been doing sim racing for a while now and now that there's nothing else we can do, it's the only option for me'', says Verstappen. ''You can at least race at the limit and of course I'm happy to do that. However, I do hope that we can start again soon'', Verstappen concludes.
