Lewis Hamilton responded to a story relating to his F1 future between Mercedes or Ferrari, but later removed this post again. There have been stories going around for a long time that Hamilton is looking at options to drive another time for the Italian team.

Situation of Vettel

Sebastian Vettel has already shown that he is likely to continue at Ferrari as the teammate of Charles Leclerc, who in turn has already made a long term deal with the team. So it seems that Ferrari is maintaining the current lineup.

What is Hamilton going to do?

The contract of Hamilton ends at the end of 2020 and stories that he may leave the team due to the exit of Wolff to Aston Martin next year persist. However, Mercedes denies all these stories.

Hamilton itself repeated its position after The Sun stated that the dream of Hamilton to go to Ferrari has been shattered after Vettel probably renewed. The British driver said the following on Instagram.

“First off, there is no dream of a dash to another team. I am with my dreamteam. Second, there’s not a thing in my way as I’m not trying to move. I’m with the people who have cared from day 1. We are the best team! Mercedes AMG F1”, he wrote.

What is interesting is that Hamilton has since removed the post from his account, because it is no longer visible. It is unclear why the six-time world champion has removed his story.
