Red Bull Racing is working hard to strengthen their Esports branch. The Milton Keynes based race stable announces on Monday that Bence Bánki will join the ranks. The man from Slowaijke is the umpteenth reinforcement this season for the Austrian formation.

Twelve drivers are currently driving for the Red Bull Esport department. Bánki will compete in the ADAC GT Series, together with his new teammate Nestor Garcia.
Bánki has already had some successes in virtual racing in recent years.

The 22-year-old driver began his career in 2016 and was crowned Esports WTCR OSCARO World Champion in 2018, finishing third in the ADAC GT Masters Esports Series a year later.

Bánki is looking forward to it

Bánki is really looking forward to his adventure with the top team. "Joining the Red Bull Racing Esports Team is an enormous honour, a responsibility which I'll take very seriously. It's every sim racer's dream to represent such a fantastic brand. The Team have been extremely helpful and made me feel at home from the very first day. 2020 will be an intense year for all of us and I'm determined to help the Team reach new heights in touring and GT racing. We all share the same passion for racing, and I'm confident we'll reach our goals together."
