Max Verstappen was on pole for the first race of the Team Redline event and Verstappen also won that race. For race two the Dutchman was on pole again, but a disconnection deprived Verstappen of a fourth win in a row.

"You can say "if" this or "what if" that, but that doesn't count now. I won't swear, but this is very disappointing. The pace was there. When I got back I saw that a lot of drivers had already dropped out, so I just started driving and almost got into the points too'', says Verstappen after the race.

Verstappen goes for a new computer

The Dutchman could have done good business for the general classification, but despite the failure, the Red Bull Racing driver is still at the top by far. ''Hopefully a better Friday than last time. Interlagos is of course a nice track to race on and the same goes for the cars'', says Verstappen, who turned out to be unable to cope with supercars last Friday.

After Lando Norris has revealed that he will shave his hair live on Thursday after a lost bet, the presenter comes back to Verstappen one more time. ''First that computer goes over the balcony and I buy a new one. Then on Friday we'll see how it goes again'', the Dutchman concludes laughing.
