Helmut Marko has said it before, but the advisor of Red Bull Racing continues to emphasize it: Max Verstappen has to be the youngest world champion ever in Formula 1. The RB16 will have to help him with that and Marko hopes the 2020 car can enter the asphalt soon to show what he's worth.

"We still want to make Max the youngest world champion", Marko tells the newspaper Österreich. At the moment that record is still in the hands of Sebastian Vettel. Only in 2020 will Verstappen have the chance to take that record away from the four-time world champion

Ferrari slower than Red Bull

As already mentioned in interviews, Marko has every confidence in this. The 76-year old Austrian sees his formation as the main challenger to Mercedes. "We see ourselves as the first pursuer of Mercedes. We stand in front of Ferrari, they don't have the speed yet", the man from Graz said.

Marko expects a duel between Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. "Lewis remains the favourite, because he has the best total package", said the top man, who also has enough confidence in his own abilities. "We have an aggressive car with enormous potential. We have also made progress with our Honda engine. Now I hope we can race it as well".
