The 2020 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is set to be postponed, with the growing concern of coronavirus pushing back the start of the Formula One season even further.

The fifth running of the race, the fourth under the guise of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, was scheduled for June 7, but officials will soon make the decision to postpone the event due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The postponement follows the cancellations of the Australian and Monaco races, and the postponements of the other four races after all sporting events around the world were postponed according to Motorsport-Total.com.

The race has not been rescheduled yet, giving the FIA and F1 a bigger headache when the calendar reshuffle begins.

The next race is supposedly set to be in Canada in Montreal, barring any further postponements.
