BREAKING: Dutch, Spanish and Monaco Grands Prix ALL to be postponed!
The Dutch, Spanish and Monaco Grands Prix have all been postponed due to the ongoing situation regarding the coronavirus. This means that the first seven events of the 2020 season have all been pushed back.
This time last week it looked as if we would get underway with the first race of the season as normal in Australia. However, as we all know, that was cancelled and soon after F1 announced the Bahrain and Vietnam GPs would also be postponed, joining the already delayed Chinese GP.
Coronavirus has caused problems across the globe when it comes to sporting events, with F1 one of many leagues and series to have been affected.
The aim now is to get the season underway in June, so if all goes well we could see a start to the season at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on June.
A statement from F1 media read: "Formula 1 and the FIA expect to begin the 2020 championship season as soon as it's safe to do so after May and will continue to regularly monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation."
