Fans react with anger: Formula 1's response to McLaren pulling out of race
McLaren have pulled out of the Australian Grand Prix after a member has tested positive for the coronavirus. As it stands, Sunday's race is still set to go-ahead. Formula 1 said they will be taking the right steps, with priority for the fans, teams and all personnel at the race.
However, some of the fans have responded to this tweet with anger. Most would rather see the race postponed.
Guys, just cancel it. It's RIDICULOUS

Just. Fucking. Cancel. It. You. Fucking. Idiots.

Being proactive is better than being reactive. MotoGP and Formula E's leadership have done so much better in this awful situation. It's disappointing but cancelling the race is the only option imo.

I’ve been waiting months for the F1 to return, but I wouldn’t disagree with cancelling the race, or possibly the season. The teams and fan safety should be number one.

If a number of races are ruined this season by COVID19, what’s the point doing the season?
