Christian Horner says Red Bull are "satisfied" by pre season testing
Red Bull boss Christian Horner says that his team are pleased with their running in testing as the two weeks at the Circuit de Catalunya comes to an end. It's obviously tough to say, but Red Bull seem to be Mercedes' closest rivals in 2020 after a positive time in Barcelona.
Max Verstappen will be delighted if Red Bull do indeed have a good car, as he is desperate to go after Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes for the title this season.
Horner says that Red Bull have had a good winter test, telling media including media in Barcelona, including GPBlog: "I think it's been positive, this week we've focused on the smallest things. A lot of mileage. Last few days positive, final preparations have been made. We are satisfied with pre season."
Horner also spoke about how productive his team have been over the fortnight, with only six days of pre-season testing this year compared to eight last year.
He added: "Three days is very little time per driver, but we have been productive, compared to 12 months ago we drove more kilometres. We are better prepared from last year. The relationship is more mature between us and Honda, the winter has been continuous by the same regulations, so hopefully we are in reasonable shape."
